yoga bhekasana “comes a time”
socks as mini-extension aides to ease into eka pada raja pigeon pose, progressing to frog bhekasana- using block to prop self up to better “puff” the chest. Home yoga practice not yoga perfect. music: Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert “Comes A Time”

Loved watching this one. Nice frog. Cool use of the sock toes as well! And I obviously appreciated the aesthetically pleasing additional chest “puff” from the use of the block!

@rolandsc
Use tube socks if you need more extension- i like the “built in” feature, no fiddling for strap!
Block really helps elevate my disposition too!

It’s in positions like these where I find long slow deep breaths very helpful to keep me calm & sustain the pose, my mind over matter challenge- glad looks respectable, thanks for posting.

Glad to… and for the record I have been an avid recycler & reuser for YEARS long before it became popular to go green!

excellent! and i love the 4th “R” of recycle, reduce & reuse…
repair.
and for the record, hehe, i just tried the sock prop. i think it may take
knee socks or even panty hose for me. LOL

Repair, yes, must not forget!
my dh is a pro, I’m so lucky he fixes everything i break!
back to pigeon prop,
Tube or knee socks work great or try a stretchy thera band- i like them better than yoga straps that have no “give”.
