I have a REALLY bad ingrown toenail that I can’t remove myself. Do i just go to the hospital ER and they’ll fix me up? I don’t have insurance, just state medical benefits, and I know the hospital takes that, but not any specialty foot doctors? So where do i have to go or call?

yes,go to emergency.a surgeon can do that:freeze the toe, and cut out the toenail.I’m warning you:you will have to lie down with foot up on a pillow(i had some surgery on my foot)
next day it was throbbing bad!walking is hard.
but, they will take care of it at ER.

I have had this done twice.
Yes, go to the ER and make sure you get pain killers and an antibiotic. Your toe will throb the day after but then it will get better.
