Where can I find ipecac in the drugstore?

Health FAQs
Is ipecac found in most drugstores like rite aid off the shelf, and where would it be found? Near the anti nausea medicines, laxatives, etc?
Does the pharmacist ask why you’re buying it or anything, if you have a doctors recommendation, etc when you buy it over the counter?

Ipecac is now kept behind the pharmacists counter, you have to ask for it.

It is dangerous if mis used. Talk to the pharmacist.

You might have to ask at the counter. Ipecac is no longer recommended to be kept at home. The current thinking is that it’s dangerous, likely to do more harm than good. I don’t know if it’s even still available over the counter.
