I have been on other birth control but now the doctor wants me to take leostrin 24/fe when I was taking a pill that had 21 white active pills and the brown pills were 7 days.

Here’s the info you need sweetie. You start taking the pills the Sunday after your period starts and it should last for about 3-5 days. It gets shorter and less bloody the longer you take it. I’ve been taking it for 5 months and its helped relieve my cramps, and relieved some of the bleeding.

Loestrin 24 has 24 active pills vs. the 21, meaning you will have a shorter period. You will probably start your period 3-4 days later than you did on the other oral contraceptive, and it will only last about 3 days.
