There isn’t much difference – just terminology — although a "physical" cold entail more in depth tests – like blood work — depends on what your Dr.is looking for —
Usually, they just take your vital signs, your medical history, check your ears, throat, etc. to make sure you are not sick before you get a shot –

Those terms are simply a way of saying "the doctor will examine your body for defects or illness and give a report. If you have innoculations needed, he will insist that you keep up your defenses against illness. He will ask questions about puberty that should have already begun. He will want to know if you have problems, or need to ask him questions about puberty. He may even ask if you are sexually active yet. Be prepared to be honest about any questions you may have about the changes in your body.

No difference really, both involves being fully naked.
