On my right lower side this happens when I drink or eat anything hot. Haven’t been to the dentist yet do I need to go?

Could be that you just have sensitive teeth, or could be you have cavities that are developing between your teeth or have reached the roots of your teeth. Only a visit to the dentist, and usually some x-rays can tell you that. Use Sensodyne toothpaste, floss after every meal, and try a fluoride rinse right before you go to bed every night. (they sell them at drug stores everywhere near the toothpaste and mouthwash). Make sure you swish the fluoride for at least a full minute, then spit out and don’t eat/drink anything else that evening. You should make an appt with a good dentist though, if the cavity is nearing the root it can be filled, but if it is already into the root, you’ll need a root canal. Either way, you need to take care of your teeth, they are the only one’s you’ll ever have! Good Luck!

Hi there,
To me it seems like you just have sensitive teeth, you should try going to the Dentist to get this confirmed and start brushing with another toothpaste designed for sensitive teeth like Sensodyne and use a softer brush.
Hope this helps!

If it’s all your teeth, you just have sensitive teeth. If it’s just in one or two teeth, you probably have a cavity.

either sensitive teeth or you have a cavity!

You definitely need to visit your dentist. It may be due to a cavity, exposed nerve area or receding gums. It may just be sensitivity. In this case, the use of a toothpaste like Sensodyne can help but check it out with your dentist.

I would say that you just have sensative teeth. Try toothpaste for sensative teeth. If you still experience that pain go to your dentist.

If it’s just 1 or 2 teeth then that means you have a cavity. If it’s all of your teeth then you have sensitive teeth. I recommend you use toothpaste for sensitive teeth and a soft briseled toothbrush. But you should go to the dentist to make sure.
