What do I do about a toothpick splinter in my gums?

I used a toothpick in my top teeth a few weeks ago. Since then, I’ve noticed a cut or abrasion when I run my tongue over that spot, and I get a toothbrush full of blood every time I brush. What can I do to fix this and who can help me?

Go to a dentist, don’t risk infection.

i recommend you go to a dentist right away..
if you can’t feel the splinter in your gums and your still bleeding than its probably gingivitis

I would have it checked out by a dentist, if it is a splinter, then they can remove it. Also, the next time you use a toothpick, it may help to examine the toothpick before putting it in your mouth for any uneven edges that could cause splintering. If you notice any, I’d use another one, or use dental floss instead.
