What are those little white flakes on my face?

I get these little white flakes mostly on my cheeks and forehead. My parents said they’re dead skin, but I don’t know. I tried to get them off using soap and water and even just plain water. But they always come back! What are they and what should I do?

Dead skin. Washing will get rid of that layer, but unless you moisturize your face, they will come back, because your skin is too dry.
I Use the Vaseline Intesive Care in the Purple bottle and it seems to be working quite well to stop that without making my face greasy.

Try a face mouisterizer… Ponds is very good. Keep your skin moist with Lotion and you should be ok

You probably just have dry skin…just put facial moisturizer on and it’ll heal your skin.

…it’s not eczema…its just dead skin. Some soaps can dry out ur skin even more than it already is..so after u wash ur face use moisturizer.

All you need is an exfoliator. Exfoliate in the shower when your skin is moist. Then apply an oil-free moisturizer. This is happeneing because it’s winter and the cold wind dries out your skin. Oh, and over-washing your face can actually increase the problem. How? The more you wash, the more sebum (the oil your skin naturally makes) you’re taking away. When you strip your skin of it’s essential oils, your skin starts to flake.

Do you use tissue paper to wipe your face, it’s probably lint if you do
