What age were you when your friends started being put on blood pressure and cholesterol medicines?

I’ve noticed a couple of my friends were put on blood pressure and cholesterol medicines. What age were your friends when they started getting put on blood-pressure or cholesterol medicine? What age were you? Does anyone know what the statistics are for the age the average American gets put on blood-pressure or cholesterol medicine?

Around 50- for some of My friends… I have No Weight, Blood Pressure or Cholesterol issues…

hi
i am 52 and not on any blood pressure medication. i do how ever take cholesterol medication for the past 2 years. My husband has been on blood pressure medication for the past 8 years.He is 54 years old and taking cholesterol medication for the past year.
i have a family history of elevated cholesterol and have been trying for the past 10 years to lower myself but not fast enough for my physican so i started the meds
