Question by : Should I wrap a bone fracture during first aid?
If so, how?

you should splint it, if you are not trained and it is an open fracture(compound fx) you need latex gloves and do not attempt to splint it unless you are trained, just stabilize the fracture(fx)

if it is a closed fx you can splint it if you have the proper equipment or anything that will work, which can range from newspaper, wood, cloth, or anything rigid depending on the part of the body that is injured.

the basic idea of splinting it to wrap something rigid (ex. a wooden board or dowel) on to the injury and tie it there so the extremity is immobilized which will keep it from becoming further damaged and also help with pain.

always see a doctor fx’s are very serious and can sever arteries internally.
