I just had a hard boiled egg. How long should I wait so I can make sure the food digests to go to sleep?

I’ve been taking these sleeping meds, and they worked the first time but now they dont effect me at all. It says to only take one, but one doest effect me at all. Will it hurt me to take 2? If so, what will it do? I dont want to hurt myself but I want to get some sleep.
