I joined the gym back in March and I’m amazed at the number of short men who attend. Now I don’t mean to say that every single one of them is short, but the vast majority (if I had to peg it, I’d say 75% to 80%) of them seem to be around 5"2 to 5"6 in height. There’s one guy who goes who looks about 5 feet tall. He’s got these hulking muscles. Quite frankly, he looks ridiculous.
I don’t have anything against short men, but I’m just curious as to why so many seem to be at the gym pumping weights. Is it short man’s syndrome? Do the feel the need to compensate for their lack of height by increasing their girth or something?

Im 19 years old, 6′ 0" and about 165 lbs. I would guess that I have around 14% body fat. So how do I put on muscle without gaining fat. I do not want to bulk up and cut, I just want to know how to put on lean muscle mass in the most efficient way possible.

I have noticed that about where my boobs start, my rib cage is starting to sink in. Looking down from my perspective, there is a deeper "V" shape in my cleavage than there was before. I think my bones are moving apart. Why is this? Its almost like wide hole.
I am 18. I AM a late bloomer though. I am still growing boobs. I got my period for the first time last March.
Is this normal?

I work out once a day for only an hour (for now). I run for about 30 minutes and then do butt and thigh exercises for the rest of the time. I’m not very good at balancing meals or whatnot. I bought some Whey protein from GNC and was wondering how many grams I should drink after my workout to help build some muscle. My legs have been getting scrawny! Thanks a lot in advance. :)
I forgot to mention I’m 5’6" and about 135 lbs, if that matters.
