Do you really have to brush your teeth 3 times a day?
On average: Once or Twice, once in a while i might brush an extra time but basically — as many times as it takes for my mouth to be clean and to keep perfect smelling breath, I can’t stand it not to be. So basically if my mouth doesn’t feel clean I’ll brush my teeth if I have the oportunity. I actually usually only ends up being 1 or 2 times though i might sometimes do it one more time depending on what/when/how many times I eat and the timing of my eating but in general 1 or 2. That doesn’t seem like enough but really it seems to be. I’ve never had one cavity. As far as I know I don’t ever have bad breath except maybe some mornings when I first awaken. Not once has anyone ever said anything about my breath not being good, and people don’t back up when I talk and I like to get really close sometimes when I speak to someone. Never really had any dental problems and seem to have great oral hygiene! No visible plaque or anything like teeth feel nice and smooth and my tongue is always a nice perfect uniform pink color, no white anything on it ever, it would freak me out if there was. I do brush my tongue when I do my teeth but don’t own a tongue scraper or anything, I don’t see anything to scrape of so it wouldn’t help anything. I do use floss (which I haven’t always done) but can’t say I do it as often as I brush but I do sometimes do it. I’m not convinced how imported flossing is because I only recently started to do it at all and never had dental problems but it can’t hurt, brushing how ever is definitely a must. I usually brush in the morning with an electric toothbrush and then rinse my mouth out with water. I never ever touch mouthwash, I don’t wanna have breath that smells like that stuff I’m not sure theres any benefit of mouthwash. I try to drink plenty of water and usually if I eat I drink afterwards and after not too long my mouth will again feel and taste clean. I drink drinking enough helps clean, something with sugar though I think wouldn’t help. I occasionally will chew gum but always sugar free and I stay away from strong minty flavors. If a point comes where I think my mouth isn’t fresh then I may do an extra brushing if I have the opportunity. I try to brush my teeth before I go to sleep but this is the one thing I’m not the best on. Theres too many times that I skip this but in 21 years i’ve had almost zero dental problems. They say you need to brush 3 times a day at least but how clean get your teeth get seriously. Most of the time I brush once or twice on average and that’s all it seems to take to do the job for this girl. A lot of people must seriously neglect their dental hygeine though because so many people have fillings often multiple fillings because they’ve had cavities, some have to get root canals and stuff like that. I don’t have one filling which some people can’t believe for some reason. Who can’t brush their teeth at least once a day c’mon that would be too gross anyway. Either a lot of people must be doing something way wrong or I’m doing something really right because I do a lot of other things many of those people wouldn’t approve of and would tell me is gonna make my teeth rot but i’ve been doing the same thing for years and my teeth in pretty damn good shape.
