My father has a history of fatty liver and he is taking Naproxen Sodium (Skelan) 3 times a week to help him exercise. Does taking Namproxen Sodium outweighs the benefits due to the fact of his liver condition?

4 yrs ago the doctor told me I had a fatty liver. My SGPT level is 38 as of today. Is that how he knows by that number? Then he did an ultra sound to make sure i Don’t have hepatitis. Can I drink in moderation or none at all?

Several years ago I was diagnosed with fatty liver. I lost 50 pounds but was having abdominal pain so I had a liver blood test done which came out normal. However, I am still having abdominal pain. Is there any possibility that the liver test could be wrong?

What tests on your blood test determine a fatty liver and at what levels?

When I came back from a business trip to Mexico I got sick from the food and went all the way to getting a CT of my intestines to rule out diverticulitis which they did but they also found that I had a severly fatty liver which also showed up as higher liver functions in blood test. I drink socially but not much but I am overweight, could this be a cause? Should I be scared?
