Please help urinary tract infection vs. fatty liver?
Please help I went to the doctor I m having pains on my right side of my belly right under the rib cage… the doctor took blood tests and sent me to go get a sonogram…when I was at the sonogram I ask the lady that was doing the sonogram if everything was ok she said very look ok but that it look like I had fat in my liver two days later the doctors nurse called me and told that all the blood work came back fine she said liver is working fine kidney are working fine but you do have a urinary tract infection and she gave me some meds. My problem is that the pain is still there I just started the meds this Tuesday and I m real worry has any one else had the same pain the pian has been there for like three months my weghit was 275 and I have lost 23 pounds in last three months what do ya think? Am just bit freaked out or should I go get a second opion
started a real simple diet eating oatmeal in the mornings and grilled chicken for lunch and I skip dinner sometimes I would eat dinner

And I work out six days a week for one to two hours

3 months ago I was diagnosed with NASH (fatty liver with inflammation) through an ultrasound and elevated liver enzymes. They say a possible cause is through elevated cholesterol/triglycerides which I had. 3 months later after eating healthy and exercising, my liver enzymes have gone back to normal but high normal and my cholesterol is normal. Is it safe to say that I do not have NASH anymore? Or do I still have it and have to maintain a healthy lifestyle so I don’t get it again. What are some foods that are good for the liver?

I was diagnosed with a fatty liver as a result of a blood test a few years back and was prescribed Deforming and Lovaza what are these medicines used for? from that day on I have been taking only Lovaza and I refused to take Metformin since it says on the bottle "DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WHILE TAKING THIS MEDICATION" since I like to drink I ditched the Metformin and drank instead now my Triglycereds are 939 and I am not exactly sure if I still have fatty liver but I have been drinking these two years ever since that test. before I had fatty liver I used to eat greasy foods and junk food I would eat a bunch of Mayonniase with every meal but I didn’t really drink that much so I was thinking that my fatty liver was due to my food choices not the drinking.
I know I wont be able to give up drinking completely since I like the taste of alcohol plus my grandfather drinks alot of beer and vodka and he is 74 years old and he has been drinking for a very long time and has no health problems and also my birthday is in 9 more days and I know I wont be able to handle a birthday party without celebrating which includes drinking

yes I am on supplements I take them about 2 times a day are they helping?
yes I am kind of overweight I weight about 254 pounds but this was a while ago I think I lost some weight but I am not exactly sure how much I weight now since I don’t weigh myself except when I go to the doctor and now I have decreased my drinking I only drink friday through sunday and during the week I might have 1 or 2 beers but nothing else am I improving my drinking habits?

and they are not prescribed my grandfather ordered them from me from a store

Doc office left message that I have a fatty liver, I do not drink nor am I fat, I have been through allot of medicines this year because of my treatment with thyroid cancer, it seems every time I turn around Im either losing body parts or Im discovering a new issue with my body, 2 years ago I ran 5 3ks and was the peak of fitness and the envy of women in my age group. What now do I do to get better?could it be my metabolic system and what is exactly that?

hi my husband has just been diagnosed with type2 diabetes, he has also been told his blood isnt clotting properly which could be fatty liver, he doesnt drink hasnt for almost 20 years,his ankles are really swollen and he is complaining his chest feels tight as if he has a chest infection, does anyone know anything about any of these problems does it sound like they are all related,he hasnt been started on any meds yet as he has had more blood tests for the blood clot problem I am just worried he hasnt told the doc everything and I can go in with him on monday when he goes back, any help appreciated, thank so much…..
