I hurt my back last week after a particularly intense work out. I left the gym feeling fine, but felt a horrible pain a few hours later while reaching for the coffee pot! (wish I could say I did it lifting a car off an injured motorist, but of course thats not what happened) It still hurts 6 days later – dull pain in my lower back and butt area. Are there any exercises I can do to loosen it up? How long after the pain stops should I wait to go back to the gym? I am going crazy not exercising! Thanks for any advice – I thought I would be better by now!

The tools online aren’t very accurate. They give you general estimates for your weight for a few exercises but what if you make minor adjustments? How do you know how to adjust the calories you burn?

For example, if you burn 190 calories walking 3.0mph on a treadmill for 30min, how many calories do you burn walking 3.2mph on the treadmill for 30min?

I am a 16 year old girl that weights around 170 pounds. I have no idea how to lose weight, and when I try to go to my parents for help, they just tell me i’m not fat. I also realize that I am an emotional eater, but I don’t know how to stop that or fix it. I was wondering If anyone had any tips as to how to lose weight, and create a healthy diet. Most of my weight is in my stomach. Is there any exercises you know of that work well to lose belly fat?

I work out for 25-30 mins per day, stuff like cardio and toning and muscle buidling exercises and aerobics. But I don’t want to build anymore muscle on my upper thighs, but I want to lose more weight off them? Are there any exercise suggestions, even if it has the same effect for the whole body, that will help to lose JUST WEIGHT and NOT BUILD MUSCLE on them?

Thanks!
