I weigh 149lbs and i’m 28 years old. I work out at the gym 3-4 days a week for an hour and a half. Right now i’m eating 450 calories a day and burning 550 calories at the gym. I really need to know how much calories I should be eating to lose weight with the amount of exercise i’m doing and how many calories should I burn.

I’m a 16 years old girl and I’m not fat at all but my arms look a little big and I want to make it skinnier.
I’m a vegan already so I know what right foods I should eat but what exercise would help so that I won’t gain muscles?
I know If I want to lose weight from my arms then I’ll have to lose weight all over my body.

I’m confused as to how this all works. You have to burn 3500 calories more than you consume to lose 1 pound. So if I cut out 500 calories from my diet per day either through reduction, exercise, or both, I should lose weight steadily (adjusting the deficit for each pound lost). Why do plateaus happen if you’re always continually consuming less calories than needed to maintain your current weight?

I’m aiming to lose around 10kg or 20lb. I want to become fit and slim…I’m wondering how much exercise should I do a day or a week in order to reach my goals and a reasonable speed.

For example how many minutes should I do on the stepper and elliptical machine.
How many sit ups, lunges and squats.
