Me (and my sister) have the heaviest flows of anyone I know. Both of ours lasts at LEAST 7 days and my flow on the 2nd day is no joke. Is there any way of reducing my flow besides taking birth control?

I’ve been on birth control for about six months now and just got some VCF films. My boyfriend and I wanted to peace of mind knowing that we’re safe, but while having as much fun as possible. I have condoms as a back up when we can’t wait the 15 minutes for VCFs to dissolve, but how effective is it to use birth control with VCF? Anyone have any experience with it?
