I got acne this month.. im wondering how can i get rid of the dark spots or discoloration. Any effective artificial method? I dont like home remedies. I dont care about the price or cost.

I’m seeing a dermatologist for my mild-moderate acne problem, and my friend recommended me her dermatologist, who works at a hospital. And I am used to hearing about dermatologists with their own offices outside hospitals. Are there any differences between the two? If so, which one is a better option? Thanks!

I have that clearasil face wash and I’m wondering how long should I leave it on my face before I take it off? I have pretty bad acne. The container doesnt say how long. Would over night be better?

How good is ClickR acne products versus all other products like proactiv, clean and clear, etc.? Which is the better buy for the price? I’ve heard bad stories about proactiv but that’s about it. Is it true that if you buy proactiv for a one time thing they send you more the next month for a higher price?

I am 16 and have been applying 10% Benzoyl Peroxide every night (after washing with Neutrogena Gentle Facial Cleanser) for just over a week now. After switching from sporradic Salicylic Acid use to BP, I responded well and quickly initially, and even had one day without acne… Now, however, it’s just a bit better than it was before I began the treatment. The problem, however, is that my skin (especially my chin and cheeks) is now constantly horribly dry and flaky, though I apply a light moisturizer at least five times per day.
Any explanations about how BP works or suggestions about what to do for this condition… Should I stop or continue with the BP? I have mild to moderate acne and would love to be at least partially clear and not flaky by the time school begins in a week. Thanks a ton for any suggestions you can offer! =)
The moisturizer that I have been using has an SPF of 15.
