Is there anyway to put more resistance on a resistance band?

Ok so today I went to buy a resistance band because I was sick of weight, I have been training for 6 months with weights and I want to change the way I exercise. Well the band I bought is too weak for me, so I wanted to exchange it with another one and the @ss hole doesn’t want to.
so is there anyway to add resistance on the band? I am stepping right beside the handle and its pretty weak… any mechanical ideas? :p

you generally need more than one resistance band anyways..

Real easy – normally. Double em up, fold em so you are only using a part em etc. Thing is even the weakest band should be offering high resistance if you are stepping near the handle. I’m assuming this is a handle you’ve tied on?
As for not exchanging them, it’s understandable, once used you can’t really resell them – and come on they are dirt cheap!
