Is there a way of testing my own eyesight to see how it is without going to an optometrist?

For me I had to stand 6′-4 1/2" from the screen and I went a bit further. I got all the 20/20 correct without glasses!!

sounds like you`v already tested them and your sight doesn`t seem right to you, do you wear glasses? are you afaird you might have to wear them, or something? just go get your eyes checked by a good optometrist and you won`t have to worry about them..

not reliably, no.
there’s a decent iphone app made by 2 optometrists that can test your acuity, but i’m having a hard time finding it right now
