I’ve been working out for many years and its something that I have been more and more interested in. I wanted to know if there are any good schools people would suggest. Also, where is the good money at? Gyms? having your own personal clients? etc… Thanks for your help?

While it’s awesome to have a degree in Fitness and Wellness, you’ll also need to get a certification to become a trainer. Your Answer:
It usually only takes a 2 or 3 day workshop to be a personal trainer, and usually cost around 300-400 each. You usually take a written test over the material you have been taught and a hands on test that you must coplete as well. AFFA, ACSM, ACE are a few of the best ones to look at.
The money in personal training are usually in the bigger cities, but it all varies. For example, you’ll charge more per client in Denver, CO than you would in Arkansas.
