I can identify. When I was younger I had the same issue and it was murder. Proper nutrition and good sleep seemed to help. Good luck.

Well I have been an acne sufferer for a lot of years and I like to call it the trial and error disease because you may have to try many things before finding something that works.
I do have my acne under control and it did take a long time and trying a lot of differant things. You need to find what works best for you.
You can find a lot of good acne advice articles below. They will give you a lot of pointers on helping you with your acne

I agree with Dale. Acne solutions vary from person to person. For me, it was because I had circulatory problems and with that fixed, my skin is pretty clear. For some, topical cremes work while for others diet is the fix.
Try : http://www.acne.org The forums are fabulous.
The Clear Skin Diet book is also helpful and offers some advice.

I have fought acne for 18 years trying everything from prescriptions (pills, creams, etc.), Proactiv, over the counter products, and everything else you can think of. Recently I stopped using all of that stuff since I have not seen the best results and got tired of wasting money. Now my skin looks and feels better than ever. Here is what I do: I wash my face twice a day, once in the morning and once at night with either Dove or antibacterial hand soap. Then I use white vinegar on a cotton pad after washing. The vinegar does burn a little wear you have open pimples. Every other night after washing my face I scrub my face with baking soda (add few drops of water to about a teaspoon or so of baking soda to make a paste) this exfoliates your skin. Then follow with vinegar. I have very oily skin so I do not use a moisturizer. I have been doing this for about a month and have not had any breakouts and what was there when I started is gone. Good luck and I hope this helps.

It is all a matter of the right diet and the appropriate products for the type of acne that you have. Read our recent blog entry about acne and figure out what type of acne best describes what you are suffering. Best of luck.
