you should be careful not to hit your head while doing these videos. because your head is really close to the ground sometimes its not safe

Try the couch yoga by Tara, it really helped me with my back pain and also office yoga by Tara is excellent too!
Have an amazing day and I hope your back strengthens like mine has from practicing Tara well presented videos. :)

I’ve been a big fan for about a year now & I’ve watched and totally enjoyed about 80 of your videos. I like this new “hold between the knees” move. Does this holding type of thing work with other postures also? I felt a need to do some ab stretches to balance out the ab crunches. Good thing I remember your “ballet on the floor” stretch that I love some much. It really relaxes the quads so the legs & back relax also. Sorry for so many words… uRock!!

Love your videos but must say a lot of the movements are far too difficult!!! For example, here, no way i can peel my back upward the way you do. Can you suggest something less strenuous for a yoga beginner who suffers from a back pain like I do? Thank you!

try lying on your back and bringing your knees into your chest and gently rock side to side. feel your back spreading on the ground. how is that? hope it helps.

thank you so much for this, Tara! This is something I discovered by accident while rocking my body around on the floor and I love it!!! I’ve been doing it for a while and it gives me an extremely comforting sensation. Can rock like this forever! Keep the good work coming! Great videos!

lol funny when u do act like you have got back pain but exercise no 1 is the sure shot way to KILL yourself if you have got back pain.
xfrenno2 on July 27, 2010 at 12:03 pm
Well , you make it looks easy. But what if i am beginner in these exercises and totally not flexible ? And for what kind of back pain do they help ? For example muscle pain ? Or for a pain caused due to a bad sleep ? If you got injured in the gym by doing an exercise and you hurt your muscle ? Do they help the same ?
